Blizzard arbeitet im moment nicht nur am dritten Diablo Teil, sondern auch an einer neuen World of Warcraft Erweiterung. Wie schon länger bekannt ist, wird darin der eisige Kontinent Nordend und der Stufenausbau bis Level 80 eingeführt, außerdem kommen der neue Beruf "Inschriftenkunde" und die Heldenklasse des "Todesritters" ins Spiel, welche die Spieler erst erstellen können, wenn sie bestimmte Kriterien erfüllt haben. Dazu gibt es auch noch neue Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten für die Charaktere, d.h. unter anderem neue Frisuren und neue Tänze.
Außerdem wir Wrath of the Lich King noch etliche neue Quests und Dungeons bieten. Es sind insgesamt acht Instanzen bis Stufe 80 und vier Stück nur für die Endstufe vorhanden. Und natürlich kommen durch die Stufenanhebung insgesamt jede Menge neue Talente hinzu.
Außerdem gibt es 4 nue Screenshots zu bewundern. Einen genaueren Releasetermin für Wrath of the Lich King gibt es leider nicht.
